Kelly Criterion calculates the optimal position size to maximize long-term growth while minimizing ruin risk.
| Losses | Capital | Drawdown | Recovery |

The golden rule: never risk more than 1–2% of your account on a single trade. This ensures you can survive a losing streak without being wiped out.
Always aim for at minimum a 1:2 R:R ratio — risk $1 to make $2. A 1:3 ratio is even better. With a 50% win rate and 1:2 R:R, you still profit.
Always set a stop loss before entering a trade. Place it below key support (for longs) or above resistance (for shorts). Never move SL against your position.
